How are QR codes generated in QR code access control systems?
For the QR code access control system . the customers know the traditional keys and the pin code to open the door. but always confused that how to generate the QR code?
In the market. we usually use four ways to generate the code.
First. Generation in the access control management backend
Administrators generate QR codes directly in the access control management software (with settings for validity, usage limits, and permissions). After generation, screenshots can be sent to users, or exported and printed as paper codes. This is suitable for batch or formal authorization scenarios.
Second. Generation in a mobile app/mini-program
Generate a QR code with one click in a dedicated app or mini-program. Users can display the QR code in real time on their phone. This is convenient and suitable for on-site or temporary door access.
Third. Generate and distribute a link in the backend
Generate a QR code link in the backend and send it to users via SMS or email. Users click the link to view the QR code image. This is suitable for remote authorization or temporary visitor access.
Four. Testing: Generate using a card number conversion tool
Use an online QR code generator to convert the card number in the access control permission to an image. This is typically only used for testing or debugging and is not recommended for long-term use in production environments.
Why do some people like to use it? It's mainly convenient. For example, if you forget to bring your card to work, you always have your phone with you. Or if a visitor comes, you can just send him a QR code and you don't have to bother with a physical access card.
